This page explains the cookies and similar storage technologies used on the CREATE Displays website (createdisplays.uk) and what you can do about them. Cookies on the customer-facing signage player itself are described separately at the bottom of this page.
Cookies are small text files a website saves to your browser. Some are needed for the site to work at all (functional). Others measure traffic and usage to help us improve the site (analytics). Under UK PECR and UK GDPR, non-essential cookies require your consent before they are set. We honour that with the banner you see on your first visit.
These are set automatically because the site cannot function without them. No consent is required.

If you accept analytics cookies through the banner, Google Analytics 4 sets the following on your browser to count page views, sessions, devices, and broad geographic region. We use this anonymised data to understand which pages are useful and where visitors get stuck. We do not use it to identify individuals.

The site does not run any advertising pixels (Meta/Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Google Ads remarketing, TikTok, etc.) or third-party retargeting cookies. If that ever changes, this page will be updated and you will be re-prompted.

You can also opt out of Google Analytics across every site that uses it by installing Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
If you are a customer running the signage player (the URL we provision for you, e.g. createdisplays.uk/c/yourbusiness), the player itself does not set any tracking cookies. It uses your browser’s localStorage to cache the last playlist so the screen keeps playing if the network drops. No personal data is stored.
We may update this policy if we add or remove tools that set cookies. The current version is always at this URL with the “Last updated” date above.
