These terms govern your use of the CREATE Displays digital signage service (“the Service”). The Service is operated by CREATE (“CREATE”, “we”, “us”), a trading name based in the United Kingdom. By signing up for the Service or using it, you agree to these terms.
The Service is provided business-to-business. If you are signing up on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to do so on its behalf.
CREATE Displays is a hosted digital signage platform. You receive a unique URL. You point any internet-connected screen — TV, tablet, streaming stick, computer — at that URL and the screen plays a rotating playlist of images, videos, and text content that you upload and schedule from any phone or laptop.
The platform is delivered as a software-as-a-service. We do not manufacture, stock or directly sell hardware. Any hardware advice we provide is informational only — selection, purchase, installation, and ongoing support of devices is your responsibility. From time to time we may include affiliate or partner links to third-party hardware retailers; any such purchase is a contract between you and that retailer under their terms, and we accept no liability for the goods supplied.
To use the Service you sign up for a subscription, provide accurate company and contact details, and choose an access passcode for your admin area. You are responsible for keeping that passcode secure. Activity from your admin area is treated as your activity.
You may share access with your staff. You remain responsible for what they do.
New customers receive a 14-day free trial. A valid payment card is required to start the trial. You will not be charged during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, your subscription begins automatically at the end of the trial at the tier you selected.
The Service is billed monthly in advance on a rolling subscription. Prices are shown on the pricing page in pounds sterling and include UK VAT at the prevailing standard rate (20% at the time of writing); the price shown is what you pay. A VAT-itemised invoice is available on request. We may change pricing for future renewal periods on at least 30 days’ notice; existing paid periods are unaffected.
Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store full card details on our servers.
Subscriptions are pay-as-you-go and there are no refunds for the current billing period. If you cancel, your service continues until the end of the period you have paid for, and does not renew.
You may cancel at any time from your account, by emailing us, or by cancelling the recurring payment via your Stripe-hosted billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals. There is no notice period.
We may suspend or terminate the Service if you breach these terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that exposes us to legal or operational risk. Where reasonable, we will give you a chance to cure the issue first.
You are solely responsible for the content you upload and display. You must not use the Service to display, host, or distribute:
The Service displays content only on screens you control. Any consequences of putting non-compliant content on those screens fall to you, not us. We do not pre-screen what is uploaded. If we receive a complaint, a court order, or notice of unlawful content, we may remove the content and, in serious cases, suspend the account.
You retain ownership of every image, video, text, font, and asset you upload. We claim no rights over your content. You grant us a limited licence to host, transmit, and display it for the sole purpose of running the Service for you.
The Service software, brand, and platform are owned by CREATE. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, resell, or rebrand the platform.
We aim for the Service to be available 24/7. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We perform routine maintenance, occasionally take the platform offline briefly for upgrades, and rely on third-party infrastructure (hosting, CDN, payment) that is outside our direct control. The signage player is designed to keep playing the last cached playlist if it loses connection, so a server outage does not blank your screens.
For customers on the Business tier we target:
Where we materially fail this commitment, your sole remedy is a service credit equal to one month of the Business-tier fee, applied to the next invoice. Outages outside our control (e.g. your local Wi-Fi, your hardware, third-party platform outages) do not count toward downtime.
The Service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law.
You will indemnify and hold CREATE harmless against any third-party claim arising out of content you display through the Service, your breach of these terms, or your unlawful use of the Service.
Our processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service you agree to that policy.
We may update the Service over time, including adding, changing, or removing features. We may update these terms; if we do, we will publish the new version at this URL and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated by email to your account contact at least 30 days before they take effect.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
